Meet Hercules the 900+ lb liger(hybrid offspring of a male lion and a tigress)! Hercules is is recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest living cat on Earth. Hercules was bred on accident and lives Myrtle Beach Safari wildlife preserve in South Carolina. He is 131 inches long, and measures 49 inches tall at the shoulder. I kind of want to ride it into battle.

Tasmanian tiger, extinct
Although the video doesn’t work now for some reason.
There have been numerous claims that the thylacine/tasmanian tiger is still alive and well. It’s one of my favorite animals and I hope that it’s still out there.

I’m really stretching the last of this galaxy fabric for all its worth :) I was able to use some scraps for the years and I was super frugal about cutting those wings out. I also gave this little bat a gem on its chest because I thought it should be extra special :D

In the yoga biz, the standard way to gain credibility is to be an RYT-200. That means Registered Yoga Teacher with 200 hours of training. Well, I’m an FYT>200; that’s a Fat Yoga Teacher at over 200 pounds. I’m very conscious of the fact that there aren’t a lot of us. Two-thirds of Americans are overweight or obese, but that statistic is not reflected in yoga teachers or in yoga classes. I wish that were different.
yoga for all!

Here’s a strange fact. In Edgar Allan Poe’s 1838 story, “The Narrative Of Arthur Gordon Pym Of Nantucket,” three starving shipwreck survivors murder and consume their companion, named Richard Parker. In 1884, three real-life shipwrecked sailors were tried for the murder of the fourth sailor. His name was also Richard Parker and he was also eaten. (Source)
